The men's high top is a canvas sneaker on a thick rubber sole that laces up over the ankle. It goes with jeans, chinos or shorts, and it comes in a long run of colors, from Full White to Mint Green.

American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, OrthoInfo: Shoes, Finding the Right Fit. Feet swell during the day, by up to eight percent, so shoes are best bought toward the end of it. Feet should be measured standing, because body weight spreads them, and measured again every year. Care

Canvas takes dirt out with water. Brush off dry mud first, then wash the upper with cool water and a mild soap, and take the laces out so they can be washed separately.

After washing, stuff with tissue paper and dry out of direct sun so white canvas does not yellow.
